Are you working on a melody matching feature in Trends? The ability to match songs by chord progression is great, but melody matching would be a game changer. Just looking at the melody grid makes me think this would be possible. Sort by % overall chorus match, or % match of any 3-note/4-note/etc segment of either song. The ability to filter this matching system by rhythm only, note sequence only, or rhythm & notes might be possible. It would be nice if it didn’t get fooled by vocal quick-riffs/runs/embellishments and was able to recognize the important notes that make up the melody.
