I have my keyboard midi connected and am playing directly into Hookpad, however, the only thing recorded are the chords. I have Hookpad Plus, and it was my understanding that if I played through a midi device that my individual notes would be recorded and populated into the bars as I played them. Please let me know what I am missing here. Thanks in advance!

Hookpad populates chords or melody depending on where the hookpad cursor is when you hit the record button. To record melody, place the cursor in the melody section before you hit the record button.
