I’m interested in purchasing Hookpad as a sketching tool before working in my DAW (Logic) and I have watched quite a few videos and read the blog to make an informed choice.
One thing I have a hard time finding, however, is a video that shows how the recording function works.
Since there’s midi support, I assume one can use a standard midi controller. But how does the recording work? Is it possible to loop over a section several times, and will the recording remove previously recorded notes on each loop?
