OPTIONAL Midi keyboard triggering

Would it be possible to have midi keyboard triggering as an optional feature?

I like to use my midi keyboard to live-play melodies in my DAW, over HT chords, but even when minimised, hook theory is triggered by my midi keyboard.

Yep! Go into “My Hookpad Preferences” found in the user menu in the upper right hand corner. At the bottom there is an option for “disable midi triggering by default”.
