When I try to use a one-syllable lyric, such as am and man, the software hyphenates it! My workaround was to change the am to m and the man to mn, but that really isn’t solving the problem, especially if I want to print out the sheet music eventually. Please help.
@DianeAoki the auto syllabicization algorithm doesn’t always get it right. You can manually tell the software to put in syllables where you want them instead by using “-” between your desired syllables. In this case since your words are single syllable, you can put a dash at the very beginning or end.
