Is it possible to have an option for muting either the melody or chords on playback in student assignments, in order to better evaluate each one independently?

Can you not do that from the band menu?
You can do that within Hookpad, yes, but those controls are not available within the students’ submitted assignments, which has a much more limited interface.
@jtbh3804, thank you for another great suggestion! I just added this feature. Click the “mixer” icon on the right of any student submission Hookpad player. You’ll get a mute option for each part of the mix (melody voices, chords, bass, drums) Enjoy!
