I’d like to be able to write out chord progressions in Melodic minor using the chord palette, with the ascending and descending accidentals accounted for. There are songs that have been written using Melodic minor that have had cultural significance, not least of which being Yesterday by the Beatles. It’s not an uncommon or unconventional scale even if pop music doesn’t use it as frequently- that’s not much justification for excluding it, and you shouldn’t exclude composing tools just because they are used less anyway.

I second this request. Hookpad is a fantastic tool, especially for changing modes/scales or borrowing chords. I like to write parts of songs in fun exotic scales, (like enigmatic and byzantine) so using hook pad for those exotic scales would save me time AND i think would propel hookpad further vs its competition
