Is there a way to export sound samples?

I recently exported a song as a midi file so I could do further editing in Cubase Elements. I had used the “saw lead” from the mixer for one of my voices, and I found that I like that better than any of the similar samples available in Cubase Elements. So I was wondering if there was a way to import the “saw lead” instrument into Cubase?

There is no way to export the samples directly as an instrument into your DAW. You can of course export your melody as a WAV file and use that treating it as a recording. You would lose some flexibility to make changes though.
