Hi, I’m new here with just 2 days of use, I’m greatly enjoying this wonderful songwriters sketchpad. If I find a spot where an additional time insert would help my piece, is there a way to do this? I see that the 8 bar structure can be broken up, but can additional bars be inserted? Thanks!

Yes, you can do that. Just select a bar by clicking in the box where the bar numbers are. The interface will change and you’ll get options to add additional bars before or after the selected bar.

Hi Dennis, Thank you so much for your reply. I need to say I’m so happy to have found this powerful songwriting tool. Prior to this I was using a long roll of paper, writing my lyrics and slowly working out the song structure and chords etc. I’m so impressed at the power of this thing…it puts the whole business at my finger tips and allows for the entire creative process to occur before I even pick up my guitar! Thank you!
