Internal Server Error 500

When trying to publish my edits to a song, it says HTTP status: 500. I removed all extra stuff from my YouTube link and it still didn’t work. This happened last time I tried it, too, about a month ago. Anyone know how to fix?

I’m having the same issue. Did the spam filter perhaps wrongly trigger again?

Maybe. This is the first time it’s happened with this song though…

Same thing happened to me.

Bumping this post because this bug affects a major function of this website.

No problem. Although ironically, this actually is a problem.

I sent an email to the support team concerning this issue. They said to clear my cache and refresh Hookpad. While that did get rid of the 500 problem, it introduced the HTTP Status 401 error. So I’m waiting on a response about that now.

im pretty sure that means you got your account blocked from editing or you just signed out because you cleared your cookies/cache

It’s happening even when I’m signed in though. I doubt that I’m blocked from editing because I’m newly at Trust Level 2.

Forgot to add this earlier, but Support said that my account is not blocked from editing.

Ok I think this should be fixed. It looks like the songs that weren’t allowing edits had YouTube urls with a nonstandard format that the YouTube ID parser wasn’t reading correctly. I pushed some changes that should make these YouTube urls work now. Let me know if there are still problems.

Thank you, Dave. The problem seems to have been resolved.
