Inclusion of Minor Maj7 In Flattened 6ths Chords

I’d like it if HookPad chord search allowed minor b6 chords to have major 7ths on them because that would make some sense to not alter the 5th note just to make your b6 a minor chord. Think of the key Bm and we include a Gm chord instead of G major, but Gm7 is changing the 5th too, which is good in some places but doesn’t give many of the sinister sounds you get from keeping that fifth. It’s just a point I’d think would make it more interesting.

You can’t access these via the search bar, but you’ll find multiple explanations of how to enter mM7 chords in this thread. To get a gmM7 in B Minor you just change the key to the relative Lydian mode and borrow i7 from Harmonic Minor.

Wow, okay, I’ve spent over a year trying to fix this, but I just asked and in a minute I CAN DO IT ALL!!! I’M ASKING MORE NOW!!!
