Posting this here to let everyone know that I intend to email support and ask for MoreKB to be banned. If you agree, please respond or like. I just want to make sure it’s not just me, and all the regulars here can’t stand this person and their insistence on being wrong all the time. Also they’re obviously YoMama1999 again and that person already got banned once for being an annoying shithead, they don’t deserve any more chances.

Oh my god I just did some scouring and found out they’ve been repeatedly banned from editing Wikipedia pages, for this exact same kind of shit. Look at this

And here they are creating a second account and getting immediately banned again
We owe it to ourselves to keep out disruptive editors like this. Please ban MoreKB, and immediately ban them if they ever show up again.

Apparently they have multiple Hooktheory accounts
I will email support to have these all deleted. This person has been a nuisance for far too long and I’m sick of them sullying our experience on this website.

I am pretty sure Morekb is the only one that can edit as all the other accounts have been blocked

I’m totally on board with banning MoreKB and their alts, but this is merely a drop in the ocean if you ask me. I’ve come to realize that trying to improve this database in any way is an absolute fool’s errand until something fundamentally changes, as the activity on here is currently dominated by a bunch of incompetent know-it-alls.
Most of these users probably mean well, but their sheer incompetence and unthoughtfulness causes their edits to do more harm than good. I’ve decided to stop wasting my precious time by making improvements that are just going to be reverted anyway.
I’m going to continue submitting transcriptions every once in a while, but I will cease to correct other people’s faulty transcriptions and I won’t bother reverting the damage when some smart-alec decides to vandalize one of my transcriptions. Sorry for being so negative, but I feel like this needed to be said.

the community based editing just doesnt work unless there are checks to prevent people from messing up everything. That is how wikipedia doesnt have a lot of blatantly false information as offenders quickly get blocked

what is really frustrating is that he doesn’t know how to sync youtube thus all the tabs he creates doesnt have properly working youtube sync.
He is either very narcissistic or is trolling

I don’t wanna sound overly insensitive towards a possible case of dissociative identity disorder, but sometimes it really sounds like this person is talking to voices in their head. And the use of “we” is curious. Also notice how they ardently argued for Bb major, then switched to C dorian as if that’s what they were arguing the whole time. Weird.

btw I found this list of other alt account names they used on Wikipedia, so if any user with these names comes in, we’ll know it’s MoreKB/ BKeira/ KeiraBanks again.

Yep, DID is what I was thinking as well. They have done that before where they suddenly changed their opinion on the key of a song and acted as if that’s what they were saying all along. Also their weirdly childlike behaviour is very curious. Every sane adult would realize that mentioning your alts for absolutely no reason will do the exact opposite of convincing other users that these aren’t your accounts.
The way they keep repeating things that have been said by other users, seemingly without even understanding the meaning behind it is also typical for children. Like a clumsy attempt to gain respect or fit in. Some of their comments are kind of hilarious though:

Yes, Support told me all the accounts have been banned. I’m sure that’ll only temporarily help us, as KB is surely gonna keep trying to come back until they get bored.
