I’ve been getting a low score in the challenges lately because I don’t know how to write a note an octave higher than it should be. How can I do this?
Have you tried selecting the note and using the up arrow key in your keyboard until it’s an octave higher?
Easiest way is to holding the Up arrow on your directional keys, and then select 1-7 for your note. This will write the next note and all following it an octave up. To switch back, hold down and then write another key. Keep in mind you have to hold up/down at the same time as you enter a note. Try checking the “shortcuts” tab in the top left of hookpad to get a general idea of how each key functions.
