Can’t Hear Sound in ios11

I can’t here sound in Hooktheory 1. I can hear it everywhere else in ios. Just not in Hook Theory.

I am not on earphones as I like open ear, iphone 8 sound is good now.

When I press play, i see the animation. No sound.
Iphone 8 with latest IOS 11.1.2

Help! Can I return the app? I want to use it though!

Figured it out. Ringer must not be on vibrate for sound to be heard, even thoigh volume is up.

Here are several possible solutions to no sound in iOS 11.

  1. Check if the Silent Switch is turned on;
  2. Turn off Bluetooth;
  3. Check sound settings;
  4. Uninstall and re-install the app;
  5. Check if the app needs to be updated;
