California Dreaming was the advanced challenge today. Granted, I bombed it, but that was mainly because the functions of the chords were from a Major key. California Dreaming is in a minor key, so the exercise should have been using minor mode functions.
Keys were not available when these dictation tabs were created (the same goes for hundreds of the earliest Theorytabs on the site). Another dictation tab had 2/4 time. I don’t know if the Hooktheory staff will take time updating these dated dictation tabs.
