When I transcribe a song and try to upload it to theorytabs, the only way I can do it is by sections (intro, verse, chorus) then seperately save them and individualy upload them. In the new uploads section is shows as 3 uploads, I’ve noticed a few hours later a mod corrects it. If I try uploading one section, saving it, then moving the locators to the next section to save and upload it, that uploads both sections with the synch out of wack. How does everyone else do it?
It’s perfectly normal for a TheoryTab to appear more than once in the “New” chart when you add multiple sections to that Tab or edit a section after submitting. There’s some kind of sorting algorithm that removes duplicates from the chart, but that only happens a few times a day so it will be like that for a few hours.
I personally always transcribe each section in a seperate Hookpad project, but you can absolutely transcribe an entire song in one Hookpad projekt and then submit little chunks of it one at a time. You just need to make sure to adjust both the timestamps in the youtube sync controls and the sync bars in the piano roll accordingly, or else the Tab will be out of sync.
