Dynamics are used almost in every single piece as it adds depth and mood to your music, so it doesn’t make sense how Hookpad or Theorytab doesn’t have them yet. I have made a quick concept on how it should be implemented.

you do have a workaround using the band region and setting instrument levels (which is different than a dynamic applied to that instrument by a performer) but you can simulate it somewhat…
unfortunately this method doesn’t work for free hookpad users just saying

ah, ok. did realise the free version didn’t off volume control on bands…
Maybe time for you to invest in paid version; its worth it- win-win…you maximize your learning due to support from the developers and developers earn to continue their research and development to further improve the features of the product…similar to the features you’re asking… just a suggestion, anyway.
