MIDI In not working

Hi Hookpadders,

First, thanks a lot for this great app, I really love it. :smile:

When I launched Hookpad+ for the first time a couple days ago, MIDI input worked just fine.
Now it doesn’t any more. I am using Chrome (version 71.0.3578.98) on Mac OS (10.12.6).

I tested my MIDI controller (Arturia KeyStep) on your test website (https://www.hooktheory.com/hookpad/midi-test). Indeed a MIDI message was captured:

Captured MIDI message via WEBMIDIAPI; Status: 9, db1: 47, db2: 113, pitch: B3, octave: 3

So the Chrome API seems to work. The KeyStep is detected in Hookpad, but there are no MIDI signals whatsoever.

Hope you can fix this! MIDI input is such a nice and convenient feature.

Same here, test site working but not Hookpad+.

Hi all,

This bug was accidentally introduced in the last minor update to Hookpad. We have a fix for it and will push it to the website tonight. Sorry for the trouble

Thank you for your patience and for bringing this to our attention. Hookpad 2.3.1 was pushed moments ago which restored MIDI input.
