I can’t figure out how to make and enter chords with notes in the main grid
use a MIDI keyboard. set HP to use that device as MIDI input.
on the voices bar though, only a single note per voice, so you would have to add a note to voice 1, then switch to voice 2 and add the next note on the chord, then voice 3 for the third, and voice 4 to the last one (if more than simple triads).
e.g. C - G - Am7 - G

Wow - that is a hopeless system. I am new to this and am I really expected to have my midi connected and swap voices to make any sensible chord and chord progression. This should be very basic functionality.
i play chords on the chords bar, and notes on the note bar 
it works fine for me, chords i play on either of my MIDI controllers are generally correct until i’m trying to do 6 note chords, then it gets dicey, but i simply add those extra notes in the note bar if there is no other way to create the chord.
