I see that the normal search now returns matches for chords (although in more complicated cases, I don’t quite understand how it works).
When searching with a word using only the letters A through G, then a space, then another letter from A to G, it only returns matching chord sequences. For example, this makes it impossible to find Bad Case of Loving You by entering the song name normally. After typing “bad c” we only see chords:
After this, entering a non-note letter causes all search results to disappear:
But if the first letter after the space is a non-note letter, there are no issues:
(As a general point: while the chord search is a fantastic use of the database, I’m not sure it makes sense to include it in the main search menu, at least in this form. As I’ve noted before, searching for exact untransposed chords is by far the least useful version of chord search.)
