Hi there, I have composed an intro and drop to a song I’m working on and need to add a melody and chords. Please help me upload my intro/drop audio track to my session on hookpad so that I can sync everything together otherwise do you have a tutorial for this task?
Again, I have a drums and vocal intro audio track that I need to sync with my hookpad melody. I am not sure how to do this, or have no idea if it’s possible.
Hi, thank you for the question. Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment. But it’s a good idea. We’ll talk it through and see if we can make this possible someday.
In the meantime all you can do is trying to set up something similar with Hookpad’s drums, if that’s possible. You can also use some of our vocal melody patches to mimic your vocals. This is far from perfect but perhaps it will help you to find the right chords and melodies in Hookpad.

Hi There, Any news regarding this? I think that Audio to Midi would be a perfect addition to the whole solution. And the cherry on top is the 1 audio file and split to different audio instrument and then MIDI.

So under the hood we can already upload use an additional mp3 file in Hookpad. We just don’t have any infrastructure for users to upload a file yet. So this might be something we can implement one day.
Audio to midi is something very different on the other hand. I’m not sure we can do this in a browser.
