How to use the harmonizer

I’m not really sure how to use the harmonizer…? Could someone please give me some pointers?

Hey Jeremiah,

for the harmonizer to work you need at least two patches on the same lead track, one or more regular instruments and a harmonizer patch. The harmonizer will then add notes to the regular instruments on that lead track to create harmonies.

I see, thank you for the pointer:)

So, 1) the harmonizer has to be on the same voice track

  1. I didn’t know what it was supposed to do when moving the harmonizer note around (I couldn’t hear anything), but now I see that when I move the piano note around I get to hear the different harmony intervals. This is very cool and I can see how this is going to help a lot with composition. Thank you so much!

Just an FYI for everyone.

I really like how you Hookpad created the ‘Chord tones’ harmonizer.

This makes it really easy to hear how the chord and melody sound together, while composing, without needing to hit ‘play’.
