Should I consider relative scale degrees or not?..I am only familiar with the key of C at the moment, I cannot play other major or minor keys and medieval modes fluently.
I think that you just eventually learn what notes each key or scale or mode has, and then get used to it. Provided, I can’t play an instrument.
