I am totally puzzled. I came to the Aria page and read “Export to your daw”. Nothing about Hookpad needed. Then while buying it offers Hookpad as “recommended”. As I want to export the Aria results directly to my daw (as stated in the page) and in the buying process nowhere is told that I definitely NEED Hookpad I only bought the Aria subscription. Now afterwards I have to agree to the terms of license where they tell that Hookpad is needed. Now can I use Aria without Hookpad payed and get the produced stuff in my daw or not ? I have written to support but maybe get a quicker answer in here. If Hookpad payed is needed I will directly went to the refung page…
Kind regards,
Richard
Hey Richard, sorry for the confusion!
Let me try to explain it a bit better. Aria is an add-on for Hookpad. It will give you suggestions for chords or/and melodies and insert them into your Hookpad project. That’s what the Aria subscription is for. It won’t change any other functionality of paid/free Hookpad.
You can use it with the free or the paid version of Hookpad and you will get only the features of free/paid Hookpad. Here is a comparison of the two versions. Exporting to DAW is a paid feature and not accessible with the free Hookpad version.
You’re right. This isn’t obvious from the website. We’ll change the text.
Regards!
Dennis
Hi Dennis,
thanks for explanation and great support.
Maybe for most of the already Hookpad users this was more obvious but as I just came to the Aria side by kind of accident from a google search it really gives me a wrong impression.
All the best,
Richard
