Hi there! I am clipping along through the bars in this project adding chords in the key. But now, Hookpad is playing the chord I select without entering it into the bar that I am in. To clarify, I am not clicking in the next bar. I am just letting Hookpad advance to the next bar after the previous chord entry. Now, it won’t enter in the next chord. I just hear the audio. Confused. - carol
Sounds like you ran out of empty measures? If that’s the case you’ll either have to enable “Auto Add Measures” in you App settings, or manually add new measures any time that happens.
Here’s what actually happened. I looked up in the top right corner and LOCK had somehow inadvertently been engaged. I have now unlocked myself and it is working. But thanks anyway.
G is the hotkey for lock, so you probably hit that by accident while changing note lengths. Happens to me all the time.
Oh, I had no idea! The G chord was actually the next chord I wanted to enter. That locked it! I’ll have to remember to hit just the numbers for the chords and never their names. Thanks!
