Whoever labeled Cat’s In The Cradle by Harry Chapin Cat's in the Cradle by Harry Chapin Chords, Melody, and Music Theory Analysis - Hooktheory as in F Major, it only uses F Mixolydian and F Dorian, and my problem with that is because if you go to the F Major Cheat Sheet, you’d be looking for songs specififally in F Major, or at least using it once, but never is there an E natural shown, so it’s wasting everyone’s time to look to see it isn’t, and it also is just wrong.
This database is a community project. If there’s something wrong with a TheoryTab, you can just go ahead and edit it yourself. I would personally put it in F dorian, as the melody only contains minor thirds and the song also has the least amount of borrowed chords in that key (the tonic chord being the only one).
