I’ve used other apps that didn’t work for me but one thing I liked about some of them was that they could connect to use the midi output of your daw— meaning you could have the app trigger your own midi instruments while composing.
Might be a useful idea to consider implementing this with the desk top version of hookpad.
the app I was thinking about was ‘klimpler’, it does this in a really smooth way, although last I checked it was a bit limited in chord selection.
Hi and thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately realtime MIDI output is not possible right now as Hookpad runs internally on our own engine and not on MIDI.
