When I drag the chosen chord and let it fall into place, I often have the problem that it’s treated as a preview. Means the chord is played (interrupting the chord sequence) and taking away one of the preview opportunities. This happens especially with the first two chords of the progression (left side)
Sorry I am looking into this and trying reproduce. What kind of device are you on ? (pc, Mac, iPhone, android, etc.). Does this only happen in the main Crush mode? You are saying the preview count increases when you drop the chord or when you first click it to initiate the drag?
Hi Dave, thanks for looking into this topic.
I’m using an IPad. It happens after dragging the chord and putting it to the chosen place within the progression
Hi Dave, any News on this regard?
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
Thanks for following up. We’re still trying to reproduce this reliably on our end — so far we haven’t been able to trigger the preview count increasing just from dropping a chord, even on iPad.
If you notice any pattern that makes it more consistent (e.g. specific chord type, drag speed, or whether you’re dragging from the top or bottom of the screen), that info would be very helpful.

Hi Denis,
Thanks for following up. I have a Short Video (8 sec) but I cannot Upload here as the video format is not allowed.
If you give me a way, I’m happy to share it with you.
I have tried in a lot of ways (coming from above or below, slow or fast movements) but the problem persists.
Perhaps you can give into the knowledge base a video how to drag the best way for different devices.
What I’ve done to share videos here is upload it to Google Drive, then paste the share link here. For example: Tone Sets: After selecting a chord, don't clear the selected tones - #4 by ecannyx
Please find attached the following link to the mentioned video.
Mainly the error occurs on the left hand side in the first two fields from the left.
Please be aware that the link is time limited to 7 days.
Hope this help to get this topic finally solved.
Best regards
Thanks for the link! It looks like the inserted chord isn’t just counting as a preview but is also being played again when it’s inserted — that’s definitely strange behavior. I couldn’t reproduce it on my end, but I’ll forward this to the devs working on Chord Crush so they can take a closer look.
Dennis
Thanks Dennis,
The fact that it plays the note again is for me the most annoying side effect, as it interferes in the listening of the next chord.
Thanks for your following up on this issue.
Best regards,
