I just started Hooktheory book 1. I am a complete newbie to music theory, only having watched a few youtube videos. In secotion 1.6 in the “quiz” section, it asks you to know the relative notes in the major scale in different keys. However the book never explained how to find the notes in a given major scale using the wwhwwwh formula. I happened to learn that in the past so I was able to get the answers but Im now worried I missed something from the Hooktheory method. Was this just an oversight by Hooktheory forgetting to teach that part?
