What are the statistics for the scale types used in melodies?
What percent of songs in the database start the melody BEFORE the first downbeat?
If yes, on what beat does it start?
What percent of songs in the database start the melody AFTER the first downbeat?
If yes, on what beat does it start?
What percent of songs start the melody ON the first downbeat?

What percent of songs in the database use 8 bar sections (periods)?
How many bars are there when there are MORE or LESS than the standard 8 bar period?
For example, some songs insert 2 bars of 2/4 then go back to the original 4/4 time.
This adds variety and interest to the songs that use this because it’s unexpected.
What are the most common song structures according to the database?
It would be great to have the ability to create common song structure templates to expedite the songwriting process.
