Having trouble with cut and paste working past 3 sessions

Just wonder if there is a bug - am on mac, it worked fine for months, suddenly stopped working fine in terms of cut and paste.

Hi, I’m not sure. It seems to work at my Mac at the moment. Let me ask a few questions to get to the bottom of this.

  • What browser are you using?
  • What do you mean by “working past 3 sessions”?
  • Is there a particular work flow where you can’t cut/paste anymore?

Thanks for the quick response! Of course, just tried it again, and cut and pasted complete measures and it worked! Can only seem to copy and paste 4 measures. I did have trouble before, but - may be okay.
-Using Chrome
-Just had trouble the last prior times I was trying to cut and paste
-Workflow - seem to need to match the chord number, and limit it to 4 measures, so go back and forth on verse/chord flow…

I can’t tell if it’s exactly what you’re having, but when I had copy/paste issues before, it was because I had inadvertently turned on Text Entry: Copying and Pasting - #10 by DSchwachhofer

Yes, that’s good call. When Text Entry is enabled you can’t paste over line breaks. When you have lines of 8 bars, this would restrict you to copy paste only four bars.
