Fugue using multiple "voices"?

I notice that hookpad allows you to add more than one “voice” using up the
“voice properties” panel.

It seems like something which would be great at illustrating how fugue works with similar melody lines layering over each other.

Is there anything like this in the database? I can see a couple of Fugues, but they seem to just have one voice and rely on the chords to provide the other melody lines.

so basically - does anyone have an example? Or is this new?

Unfortunately, when you post a tab, those harmonies don’t stay, as I described in this post:

For simplicity and readability all songs which are submitted as Theory Tabs are reduced to have only one melody track and a chord progression. Although this is ok for most of the pop songs there are some genres and examples like a Fugue where this is clearly not the best approach.

But on a second thought for a fugue you could analyze the underlying harmonies and just display the most important melody voice all the time. Like this you could mark each start of the theme and perhaps create an analysis which is more valuable than just copying all notes into Hookpad which can be read in the score anyway.

So perhaps this limitation isn’t that bad after all it forces you to write down only the most important melody of each part.
