Hi Hookpad Guys and Gals: I have entered 3 beats with a 1-beat unit in Hookpad to get a walz feel with this latest composition. Hookpad has marked off the chord area into 3 beats per measure but it is playing back 4 beats per measure. I am having trouble entering any melody because I can’t get the chord progression to walz for me. Thanks for you help.
Hi, what instruments are you using in your project? Some of the basic rhythms are playing a 3/2 feeling instead of a 3/4 feeling right now. I already fixed that in dev but until the next update is released, the best way to make sure the patterns loop every three beats it to write a new chord on every measure.
Then you can use a Sustain patch for your bass and an upbeat patch for your harmony instruments. This should result in a pretty good walz.
