I’m finding it hard to match the tempo for a perfect loop in my DAW, depending on the starting instrument its not completely straightforward to match the waveforms to the grid. Whenever you export a wav there’s a starting silence that doesn’t seem to be exactly 4 or however many bars. Could this be filled with a click? Thanks
The silence at the beginning of the track is exactly one beat in the corresponding song tempo.
So if you set you DAW’s tempo to the same tempo as the song you’ve exported and you cut away one beat you should be fine. You might need to adjust the position by a few milliseconds as there might be some latencies involved but it should be pretty much in sync.
