In Hookpad it is possible to stay in key (ie no modulation) by clicking on secondary dominant chord that leads to the target chord. However, I would like to go one step further and and the Related 2 chord (which precedes the Secondary Dominant chord) - without changing modulating.
How can I do this?
Use the search palette, type ii/iii for instance (Hookpad purchased or else you need to quickly type the label or chord before the 90 sec time limits)
You can also try to find a song that use related ii chord and copy paste it from the clipboard (but now it’s not feasable because only some theorytabs can be opened)
