Just opened up the new version to work on a song. I don’t get it. It is not as user-friendly or intuitive as it was before. I see that a word stayed is hyphenated as s-tayed which wasn’t the case before. I am trying to change it and do not see how to. Please help.
Sorry for the trouble. Hookpad doesn’t have a complete syllabication library, so it does its best to try to figure out where to put syllables, although sometimes as in this case it doesn’t do a great job.
To force a word to be a single syllable, you may add a dash to the front or the back: -stayed or stayed-
