When reading the book chapters on harmony and playing back the embedded examples, I feel like listening to just the chords in isolation might help me internalize the roles that the different chords play more easily. I end up recreating the progressions in Hookpad, which works fine and is a useful exercise in itself, but I think it would still be handy to have a mute button for the melody (or a solo button for the chords) in the song snippets that are embedded in the book.
