One nice feature would be to have a count in for the playback. If I want to play along the tab, I miss the first beat or at least a part of it.

+1 on this, could be useful.

Thanks for the suggestion. The newest version of the TheoryTab player will have a loop bar which will allow you play specific sections of a tab on loop, which hopefully will help with playing along.

I'm aware of the looping and I use it a lot, but unless I'm really fast, I'm going to miss the beginning of the loop when I start the playback.
